I would not recommend this. We attempted many times to just cook French fries, but they never cooked. The last time we tried to use it, the top looked like it was melting a bit, so we unplugged it and sent it back. It always had a burning smell to it, like wires getting too hot!
Product is amazing, customer service is terrible.
The product itself is a 4 out of 5. I only rate it a four as the paint in the outer basket is chipping off. Customer Service at Tristar is a 2 out of 5. They argued with me for 15 minutes before finally stating they would replace the basket, but I had to pay to ship both ways, approximately $50 total both ways.
They will not refund my money after paying $25 to return the air fryer.
We did not care for the air fryer XL so did return it. Just forget getting refunded because it won't happen. They make it very difficult even to understand how they operate as they keep on switching from one person to another to supervisor to line is busy to just any ploy they choose to use. And being the holidays too, started the return in September and still no refund. Hey, maybe this could be a scam.
