TV Key Scam
I ordered the TV Key by phone and the salesperson kept on trying to sell me something else. I finally told her that I do not need any other product except that small TV Key. Because I refused to buy any other product, she said she would upgrade my purchase for free, so I would get the booster to amplify the TV Key. I was charged $16.00 in shipping and handling and got the ugly big amplified TV antenna that does not give any signal!
I have to pay to return it and only then they give me back my money! That means that I pay them to try their product that does not work! I wanted the small TV Key that goes behind the TV, not the big ugly gadget that they sent me! This is a scam! They send you a product that does not work. I will report them to Consumer Affairs of California.
Well, I like to watch TV but I cannot afford cable. I lost my job six months ago, working at Macy's. I worked in the men's clothing department. I need good reception on my TV for free because I never miss The Young and The Restless, wrestling on Monday nights, and Jeopardy. I bought this thing in Rite Aid drugstore, while I was filling my prescription for this nagging cough I have. I was so excited to try it out, but you know what? It only pulled in four stations. So what did I do? I packed it up, nice and neat, and brought it back to Rite Aid, and explained to the manager what happened. Long Story short, he checked my receipt, and I was in the time limit to return it, so I got a refund for $22.46. I have never felt such a sigh of relief! Never again, folks! I have better things to do with my hard earned money!
Clear TV Key
Absolute garbage! This product is a perfect example of American products today. Shame on the owners and investors involved with this scheme. I will pay Clear TV $1000 in cash if they can send one of their employees to come to install this and get just one channel to come in. I own a new Vizio Digital TV and I live in Orange County, California, so it's not like I'm working with antiquated equipment and living in the boondocks. I suspect my $1000 won't even be challenged.
Beware, it is a scam.
It’s a waste of your money. It does not work. They don’t refund what you pay for. They send you only a partial amount and you have to pay for the shipping also. Beware, they mislead customers and give nothing but junk. Stuff that they don't want to take it back. They try to get you to give it to someone you know so they won’t refund you. DO NOT BUY!
Horrible, a waste go money
I could only receive one station. It jumped as if it pugged to a firecracker. A waste of money.
I bought my father one of these for his television in his apartment, we tried everything and could not pick up any channels whatsoever. We spent 30 minutes moving the TV around the apartment to get better reception and that didn't help, even when it was by the window. So I stuck a piece of stereo speaker wire in the coax and picked up eight channels. Before you waste your time and money, look for something better. Y'all ought to be ashamed of yourself with the false advertising! A person must be within five miles of the broadcasting station in order to pick it up I'm sure.
TV Key from the commercial
This one of the worst things I've ever received in the mail. I ordered two TV Keys and neither of them worked. I only got three channels and they weren't even good channels. I was so upset!
Is there an adjustment?
I bought two antennae. I cannot get them to screw into the cable place. It is too short to plug in. I have not seen anyone else with this problem, so maybe I am doing something wrong. I would appreciate some answers.
I purchased online at As Seen on TV the Clear TV Key. Shipping was great and I received it within 4 days. I plugged it in, scanned channels several times, and I only received three channels, which is 15 less than with the old rabbit ear style antenna that I'm currently using.
Free TV Antenna Keys
Don't waste your money! I ordered two and they are crap! It didn't give me any channels. I even tried hooking them up to my HDTV box and still nothing! Your ad is very deceiving! You make it sound like you plug it in and have all these channels. That's not even close! I'll keep my HDTV box and antenna. It gives me 13+ channels and that's all I need! I paid money to have them sit in a drawer! Scammers.
One channel is all I get. I got 19 buying an antenna from the store.
I got one channel. I then went to Walmart and bought a $40.00 antenna, and now I get 19 channels. Waste of money!
