Waste of money.

Feb 21, 2018 | | Melbourne, Australia

My partner bought one in 2014 for when he retired to go fishing, his mistake should have tried it first so it's out of warranty. I took it with him two weeks ago and the motor isn't working, and it was never blown up before. Of course, Global Shop wants nothing to do with it and Ryco Corporation who imported it won't ring you back. Yes, it can be pumped up with another pump, but having paid that much, you would think it would work. Never again will I buy something like that.

2 Euro beds, both tore at seams.

I bought one Euro bed and it lasted for 2 weeks, then started leaking around the seams. I contacted Global Shop and they sent a replacement immediately. The replacement leaked after one-night of use. It was the same story. The seams split and the bed leaked. I am very disappointed. This bed is a waste of money.

Never Again.

My partner bought a Euro bed in 2014. He has been waiting to retire so he can go fishing and camp for a few days. He packed his car and took off this week, drove over 300 kilometers, and rang me that night to say the bed will not inflate. He took a good generator with him for the job. He slept on the ground and came home the next day. It had never been used before, and yes maybe we should have tried it out first, but silly us thought it would be fine. I tried it on a plug in the house, still nothing and of course, it's out of warranty. Also, finding someone who is willing to have a look at the stupid thing, and maybe fix it is hard because they wouldn't have parts for it. So apart from buying a 12-volt pump for it, it will probably end up in the bin.

Good while it lasted.

I bought this last year from Big W and used it during summer to sleep in the hall with my wife and little boy. It is a small family adventure. We enjoyed it several times last year in the summer but this year I noticed it got soft. I found a small hole in the side seam and it looks like the PVC along the seam has stretched, creating a small pinhole. I have tried to repair it myself but after 2-3 tries and spending almost $20 on repair kits, I have given up.

I used it a couple of times then deflated. Very disappointed.

We purchased two of these Euro Beds, one for our house, and one for our holiday cabin. The one in our house has been used no more than 8 to 10 consecutive days, and we noticed some deflation after the 5th or 6th day it was used. On the next occasion, it lasted two days with some deflation and then it went flat. We found a 2 1/2 inch tear around one of the air pocket cylinder coils in the velvet top. This mattress has always had a mattress protector and a sheet covering the top and is always placed on the carpet. We do not allow any children jump on it when it is not in use. It has only ever been used by adults.

Not happy.

We bought two queen size Euro beds, used one 3 times, and the other 5 times. Every time, except for the first time our guests woke up on the floor. I rung up GlobalShop and like many other people, it was over 12 months and would not replace it. What a waste of over $300, false advertising and not a good investment, I'm very disappointed. All I wanted was two new ones, but no.

Absolute junk.

I bought this product from the Global Shop. The built-in pump already broke after having the mattress for 4 months. It's a joke.

Never again

I bought one, blew it up once and it worked great for that night, then the next time I blew it up, it deflated during the night. Found a hole where the seams are near the pump. Patch kit didn't work. Was not happy when I paid $169 and only got one night out of it, just to say never again.

Euro Queen From Big W

Sep 28, 2017 | | NSW

Bought the Euro Bed from Big W in May 1916, first use was March 1917 for daughters to use when camping for two nights. Both times our daughters found themselves on the ground during the night. Put it up last night to see if we could see if there was something wrong with it but found nothing. No one even slept on it but it still went down slightly. Cannot trust it if we went camping again. Cannot take it back as it is over a year. Don't really know what to do.

Only used half a dozen times for grand kids sleep overs, now seams coming apart, goes flat in an hour.

Waste of money.

We got one and was kept in the cupboard for a year. We got it out for my father to use on his visit and it went flat after one night. Rang them and they said because we had it more than 12 months it's not their problem.
