This product was a nightmare
I was using this product for a few weeks. I followed the instructions, and it did in fact work. However, after some time, my hair started falling out. Although I'm mid 40s, I've always had a thick head of hair, but now it's completely thinned out and entirely noticeable. I'm balding! And I'm sick to my stomach.
Not a good product at all
This so called hair product did nothing for my hair but turn it a crappy color. I see nowhere how to get this crap out of my hair, can anybody help?
This product is absolutely rubbish.
As a health professional (Pharmacist) I tested this product for 2 weeks and the result is absolutely rubbish!
Initial Skin Allergy test; carried out on two occasions, each being a 48-hour test; no allergic reaction has been observed. After applying every other day for a week; my hairs begin to fall! I thought that this was due to the change of shampoo, as it occasionally occurs when you change your usual shampoo on some individual. Yes, this shampoo changes the color of your hair towards black; (depending on the beginning color of your hair), by doing so, it damages your hair like every other hair dye. Because the chemicals concerned in dying the hair is normally not skin friendly chemicals - they are almost all harmful.
Contrary to its statement in the brochure and outer box; it DOS NOT conditions nor revitalises the hair; because, the conditioned hair becomes softer, more flexible and more manageable; as it comes to the result that I observed, my hair thins every other day, gives a feeling of burned and dry hair. You usually observe this, if you are 40 years or older, when you get your hair dyed, you can feel this especially after you dry by using a hair dryer.
SUBTLE, NATURAL LOOKING RESULT; totally false. If you have got a thinned, burned dry hair, how come you can claim that it is in a condition, that is subtle and natural looking results. If that is true, everybody would have wanted a burned hair on their heads. These claims are totally false/untrue.
As for the advertising terms of breakthrough technology, technology, and the first shampoo with a brain; this is TOTALLY FALSE. If the manufacturer/big company even knows what this means that is.
SHAMPOO WITH THE BRAIN; This is only true to wash our brains and psychologically make you accept that it will work. But we do not want a false statement to be our brainwashed; rather we would love our hair washed, cleaned, and looked after, not to loose them by using this product.
My overall observation and decision for this product:
Please do not waste your money by relying on the cleverly designed advertorial statements, which are totally FALSE! Please buy good quality shampoo which does not contain any derivatives of alcohol, which is a known harmful agent even to the most healthier hair and scalp, hence the follicles of hairs. Please steer clear from this totally rubbish, falsely advertised product called Control GX.
To my understanding and knowledge; use and good quality soap every other week before using your quality (alcohol-free) shampoo. Please trust me fully and whatever I have stated above is totally true (nothing has been exaggerated).
Lastly and hopefully, I can be some kind of help in preventing these innocent members of the public spending their hard earned cash not only on such an expensive - small volume of product, but moreover, causes more damage, rather than making your hair healthier and better!
Yes it does work
My hair was 100% white due to premature graying since I was 13. I used this as directed for 2 weeks and my hair is almost my normal color (brown) after 20 years of white hair, I feel like a normal person again.
It really works, way better than using the Just For Men, I hope it does not get discontinued.
Works great for my natural dark brown hair
After two months of regular use, my hair looks even better than the "salt and pepper" look I used to get when it's time to repeat another hair dye. At 69, I now have a very evenly spread of brown and the white strands are hardly noticeable. My eyebrows now have more whites that really stand out next to the hair on my head (no plans yet to brown up my eyebrows). I also notice that my hair has more body and I can comb it nicely with a brush. The downside is my nails get stained. Starting to use gloves now.
Day 3 good. Day 4 not, so much.
It has turned my scalp brown, which wouldn't be so bad but it's not a uniform brown. The whole top of my scalp looks like it has been burned. I used to use Just for Men mustache and beard for 3 minutes on my gray. I wish I would have stuck with what I was doing. I wonder if my scalp will ever be the same.
Ok so, I have been using this for about 3 weeks and gone from almost completely white to a dark salt and pepper look. I use it as directed and don't have any problems with it staining my hands or skin. Sometimes if I don't rinse it off my hand I may notice a small dark spot by the skin on the end of my nails. Also, it works great for beards, I just leave it in a little longer. I have only received positive comments on how my hair looks, since it is salt and pepper people don't assume it's dyed, after I tell them they don't believe it.
I've used Just for Men dark brown hair dye for years. Always with great results. Not the same. No matter how many times I used the shampoo the results are what my wife calls " mouse brown". I think I'll switch back to the dye.
I purchased a tube and shampooed for several weeks. It worked wonderfully. The shampoo changed gray/white patches black. Does stain shower and nails, use gloves. I recommend the product.
Not working well at all.
Product stains your hands even when just using your palms as recommended, I've had to use nail rush to try and scrub it off, also after 3 weeks, I don't see much of a difference. I don't think this product was ready to be marketed yet.
