Christy Brinkley Recapture 360 claims to be an anti-aging cosmeceutical that will rejuvenate your skin making you look younger as well as providing full-spectrum sun protection. Recapture 360 promises to work for you every second of the day, reducing fine lines and wrinkles as well as visibly firm your skin and restore its elasticity.
What’s the story behind Christy Brinkley Recapture 360 skin cream?
Supermodel Christy Brinkley states she worked with a leading team of cosmetic formulators and anti-aging scientists to deliver this “revolutionary” formula. Ms. Brinkley states that she is proud to share her lifetime knowledge of skincare and has been involved every step of the way in the creation of her new skincare line and says she stands behind every single jar sold.
Christy Brinkley Recapture 360 contains a host of different ingredients that they claim are some of the greatest available to reverse the signs of aging. Many of these are proprietary formulas with fancy names: Neodermyl®, K Vita C™, Aquaxyl™, Sytenol A™. There is no unbiased clinical evidence for any of these ingredients available.
They also list Mitostime, an extract from brown algae that is included in a lot of popular skin care products but no proof outside of a test tube that it does anything to revitalize the skin.
Marta in her blog Truth In Aging posts the full listing of Christy Brinkley Recapture 360 ingredients and did an analysis. Her conclusion was that it contains some promising ingredients (she mentions bakuchiol, which is said to have retinol-like effects) and a few good antioxidants, but she felt there are some synthetic substances included that a skincare purist might question. (It should be noted that Marta is not a chemist or scientist.)
How much do they charge me to try Christie Brinkley Recapture 360 beauty treatment?
Christie Brinkley offers what they claim is a risk-free trial of Recapture 360 but there is some fine print many people ignore in their excitement to get ahold of the product.
For an initial $4.95 fee, they will send you a 60-day supply of Christie Brinkley Recapture 360 plus a mystery gift, which they state is from Christie’s Skincare Collection and a $70 value.
If you do not contact them within 30 days of shipping, you will be billed $69.95 and then another $69.95 30 days later. In addition, you will be automatically enrolled in an auto-ship program, sent 60 days worth of Recapture 360 and billed $69.95 every 30 days, along with a $7.95 shipping fee.

Bottom Line: Christy Brinkley Recapture 360 will likely disappoint due to price, auto-ship
We’ll admit Christy Brinkley is a beautiful woman now over 60(!) with what appears to be flawless skin and who has graced the covers of hundreds of magazines. But the truth is she is a celebrity with no chemistry skills who will make a profit off of every bottle you buy.
Christie’s image is carefully crafted and she is always photographed in perfect light wearing makeup and (like most celebrities) Photoshopped.
Christie Brinkley Recapture 360 does include vitamin C, which has been shown to reduce photoaging in some people, but the main benefit here appears to be the UVA/UVB and IR protection. The sun is the biggest culprit when it comes to wrinkles and blemishes that make us look older, but you can get this kind of protection much cheaper.
And so far reviews of Christie Brinkley Recapture 360 are less than stellar. Many commenters on the Truth in Aging website talk about the difficulty of getting a refund or cancellation of the auto-ship/pay, even if within the 30 day time period.
One woman named Sandra claims she decided to not complete her online order for Christie Brinkley Recapture 360 after reading the fine print. One half hour later, she says she received a phone call from a company rep:
“She was very aggressive at trying to get me to give her my credit card number. Said she would send me an extra gift for free [just] to try this product for free. I told her that it sounds good to me as long as I don't have to give her my credit card information…She said she couldn't do that.”
Other Christie Brinkley products receive negative reviews over at our sister publication Highya, where it averages just 1 star. Consumers make similar complaints about auto-ships, difficulties cancelling, and products that don’t deliver results.
If you are 60 years old or older and you want to appear younger, there are a few things you can do. Wash your face regularly along with a gentle exfoliation a few times a week. You can try a vitamin C cream or an over-the-counter retinol, but don’t go for the fancy stuff.
When it comes to sunscreen, according to WebMD look for an SPF 15 for UVB protection and one that contains ecamsule, avobenzone, oxybenzone, titanium dioxide, sulisobenzone, or zinc oxide.
IR or infrared radiation (aka the heat from the sun) is the latest scare word in aging products, but we don’t really know how much damage to our skin IR causes. As long as your sunscreen contains the above ingredients, you are likely protected.
And here’s a tip that will make you look younger: smile! Studies show people who smiled in their photos appeared to others an average of 2 years younger.
We’re not saying you’ll look like Christy Brinkley, but even a fake smile can trigger happiness and make you look more attractive, making you feel better about yourself. Give it a try – it’s truly risk-free.
