ThermoGo is a microwaveable pad that the manufacturers (Safe TV Shop) promise will keep you warm for up to 6 hours. They claim you only need to heat it for 2 minutes and that it’s great for the outdoors or daily commutes so you won’t have to sit on a cold seat.

How ThermoGo Works

ThermoGo is 12” x 8”; the infomercial states putting it in the microwave activates the heat molecules inside its patented Microcore pack. After 2 minutes, they instruct you to remove the hot pack, and put it in the storage bag. Then, place under your fanny or anywhere else on your body you are cold. They state the ThermoGo will keep you comfy your entire trip; when it gets cold, just pop it in the microwave again. They add you can put it in the freezer and use for aches and pains or to cool off in the summer months as well.

ThermoGo Costs…

$27.85 for 2. This is pitched as $14.95 plus $7.95 P&H but then they add another $4.95 for the supposedly “free” ThermoGo.

There is no return information listed on the website. However, we spoke to customer service at (877) 637-0784 and they assured us there was a 30-day money back guarantee, minus the initial shipping and handling fees and what it costs to send your ThermoGos back.

Bottom Line: Will ThermGo Keep you Warm?

We have little doubt that ThermoGo will heat up in the microwave just like Safe TV Shop promises it will. We would also like to point out a couple of things:

ThermoGo heat pads are $13.93 each and you must order 2. This may not be apparent from the website, which promises it’s “only” $14.95 plus P&H. In addition, if you do return your ThermoGos they will keep $12.90 in fees.

There is only one size for ThermoGo, so it may not be as versatile as you like. Also, if you are not near a microwave when it cools off, you won’t be able to reheat it.

Safe TV Shop’s Privacy Policy permits them to solicit you over the telephone, via snail mail or email as well as share this information with third parties; there does not appear to be a way to opt out of this.

Finally, ThermoGo is hardly the only microwaveable heating pad on the market. You may want to do a search for others on the Internet and compare prices (as well as privacy policies) before buying.
