Flawless Anti-Aging Serum is a “cosmeceutical” that claims to be better than Botox and has ingredients that are clinically proven to dramatically decrease fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles, and increase collagen production. Flawless Anti-Aging Serum promises amazingly fast results and tempt with an exclusive trial offer so you can see for yourself!

What is a cosmeceutical?

A cosmeceutical is a cosmetic that makes claims like a pharmaceutical drug (i.e. “look younger”, “feel better”, etc.) but has not been tested to be safe or effective. As we discovered in our investigation, according to the FDA, the word “cosmeceutical” has no meaning under the law.

Because cosmetics are essentially unregulated, these companies can make any claims they like without any proof, so long as they state their product has not been evaluated by the FDA.

What is in Flawless Anti-Aging Serum that will make me look younger?

Flawless Anti-Aging Serum doesn’t specifically list what is in their product, except to mention that its “biofil spheres” are made from a natural wheat protein that acts like a sponge. However fancy that may sound, in fact hydrolyzed wheat protein is commonly used in many creams like this because of its moisturizing properties. Wheat protein is safe for most people, but those with a wheat allergy may experience itching or rashes.

Flawless Anti-Aging Serum seems very familiar to us. Why? Because we’ve seen this same website template used again and again for many of these so-called anti-aging serums:

Same website template used again and again

And that’s just a handful of them. We’ve recently come across NuPlenish and Dermallure which both have an average 1-star rating from users on our website.

What is the proof that Flawless Anti-Aging Serum actually works?

Basically there is none, aside from a biased study, and a few ridiculous before/after photos that are clearly Photoshopped.

For example, they state there was a study that showed:

On the order page, they do have a link to a study, which has an intriguing title Immediate and Long-term Clinical Benefits of a Topical Treatment for Facial Lines and Wrinkles and positive conclusion.

However, this appears to be for a product made by a company called SkinMedica, not Flawless Anti-Aging Serum. In addition, it should be noted that this was not an independent study, as it was paid for by SkinMedica. (To learn more about how to read a clinical study, click here.)

And then there is this “classic” photo we see on all these sites:

Before Photoshop… and after!

I mean, seriously… This is the exact SAME photo with a bad airbrush.

How they tempt you to try Flawless Anti-Aging Serum

Flawless Anti-Aging Serum puts pressure on you to make a decision about their product quickly, perhaps so you won’t notice the bad Photoshop job we pointed out and the lack of clinical evidence that it works.

In big letters at the top of the site they have a WARNING that due to “high media demand” there is a limited supply so you should HURRY and order! There is a timer clock ticking upward to increase the urgency. However, this clock really has no meaning and they likely have enough Flawless Anti-Aging Serum in stock (or at least they’ll take your money…)

The “Trial Offer”

Flawless Anti-Aging Serum has what they call a Trial Offer (notice the word “Free” is missing) of their product for $4.95 shipping. (And if you click “refresh” the price will go down to $2.95.)

And while that sounds like a bargain, the Devil is in the details, which you can read if you click on the Terms and Conditions:

The trial period starts 2 days after you order Flawless Anti-Aging Serum, not when you receive it. Since shipping times are often delayed for these types of products, this will likely cut in to the time you have to try it to see if it actually works. (HINT: it won’t!)

After this 14 days, you will be billed $89.95 for the trial supply of Flawless Anti-Aging Serum as well as enrolled in an auto-ship program, being billed $89.95 and shipped more product every month.

In order to not be charged, you must contact them 1 business day before the 14-day trial period.

They do not accept product returns or provide refunds after the trial period.

When you buy Flawless Anti-Aging Serum, you are also signing an arbitration agreement, which prevents you from suing them or joining a class action lawsuit.

Bottom Line: Will Flawless Anti-Aging Serum get rid of my wrinkles?

How can we make such a bold assessment? Again, let us remind you:

  • They use the same generic website that we have seen again and again
  • Their “evidence” is very flimsy
  • They make it very difficult to cancel the product without being charged at least $89.95
  • There is no such thing as a cosmeceutical
  • There is no such thing as the Fountain of Youth
  • There is no such thing as Santa Claus

How to Look Younger

In spite of all this bad news, it’s really simple to appear at least a little younger than you are: stay out of the sun (or use a high SPF sunscreen on your face), exfoliate gently, and smile – studies show that people who smile appear younger to others.
