Finishing Touch Elite from Idea Village is a small pen-shaped battery-powered tool that they claim removes unwanted hair instantly and painlessly anywhere on your body from head to toe. They promise it’s strong enough to remove the thickest hair, yet so gentle that it won’t leave any razor burns or bumps.

How Finishing Elite Touch Works

Finishing Touch Elite is powered by one AAA battery, which is included and has a pivoting head and a light so you can see what you are doing. To use Finishing Touch they say to brush across the epidermal area with the unwanted follicles; they state the micro-oscillating razors will gently cut the hairs away, leaving smooth skin.

Finishing Touch Elite claims to be new and improved, but a call to customer service revealed that it is the same product as the Finishing Touch Lumina.

Finishing Touch Elite Costs:

$21.98 ($16.99 plus $4.99 S&H) which includes an eyebrow attachment, a lighted magnification mirror, and a quick-dry hair wrap. There is a 30-day money-back guarantee, minus S&H and what it costs to send back.

In addition, we were told by customer service the blades are replaceable and can be bought for $12.99 for 2. They also told us Finishing Touch Elite is backed by a 1-year replacement warranty, minus what it costs you to ship it back.

Bottom Line: Is Finishing Touch Elite a Scam?

Customer reviews of the product are decidedly on the fence, with half of the people loving and half hating it; the Elite averages 3 stars on Amazon from 51 reviews and the Lumina fares slightly better although it has over 300 reviews.

The people that love it say it’s portable, works well, and indeed pain-free. Those that don’t like Finishing Touch Elite (or Lumina) say it’s cheaply made and quickly stops working. It should be noted that Finishing Touch Elite appears to be a razor-type device, not an epilator which pulls out by the roots, so some say you may still see “stubble.”

If you do want to give Finishing Touch Elite a try, remember it does have a 1-year warranty so don’t throw it in the trash if it stops working. Also, if it gets clogged you can by new blades. Keep the phone number (855) 836-8443 handy and let us know your experience with Finishing Touch Elite below!
