EGO Blower (aka EGO Power Plus Blower) is powered by a 56-volt lithium-ion battery and the company says it’s the most powerful rechargeable leaf blower on the market. They boast it delivers the performance of a gas blower minus the noise, fuss, and fumes.

EGO Blower is another cordless lawn care product from EGO (aka EGO Power+) based in Geneva, IL.  Although the company says they’ve been in business for 20 years, there is no info about them on the BBB website.

The EGO Blower Pitch

This leaf blower is aimed at homeowners who like fancy cordless gadgets and aren’t afraid of spending a little money. They tout it’s equipped with “jet engine turbine fan technology” and promises it will literally blow the competition away. They add it’s easy to use anywhere, just put in the battery and go.

How EGO Blower Works

EGO Power Plus Blower looks like something you might see in a Sci-Fi movie. It’s made of plastic and is 8.5 x 10.5 x 36.2 inches and weighs 5.16 lbs. without the battery. It has a big ol’ black tube on the end where the air stream gushes out.

EGO Blower has 3 speeds: Low (45 mph/250 CFM) High (72 mph/385 CFM), and Boost (92 MPH/480 CFM). It runs up to 60 minutes on Low, 18 min on High, and 10 on Boost before you need to recharge it.

To use EGO Power+ Blower, make sure the battery is charged, choose the speed, and grab by the handle. Release the lock-off lever, pull the trigger and point at leaves or other debris you’d like to blast away. When done, you can pop off the battery and place back in the charger.

EGO Blower Costs:

$199 via link to the Home Depot website which includes free shipping or in-store pickup. It comes with a 2.0 amp battery and charger or you can opt for a 4.0 amp battery and charger for an additional $199 (other accessories like a strap are available as well).

EGO Blower comes with a 30-day return policy and 5-year limited warranty.
